Last week when I was in your store, I picked up your blue flyer with the request to leave a Google review. I do not use Google, but I did want to take the time to thank your wonderful team as you all deserve the recognition. I wish I remembered everyone's name to recognize them individually.
This is our first year with our pool. We purchased the house in the winter and learned that White Mountain put up the pool and serviced the hot tub and pool. Being new pool owners, we really had no idea what to do with this stuff and how to maintain it. I remember calling the store on a Saturday sometime in the early winter (Maybe December) because we noticed the hot tub was leaking a ridiculous amount of water from time to time and it was not evaporation. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful and he was so patient and kind. Forgive me for not remembering his name. I remember he lives across the street from the fire station in Barrington (that part I remember). Anyway, after some discussion we decided to do a service call and possibly winterization because we just didn't want to deal with it all winter given we were still dealing with the new house.
Fast forward to the service call date and I believe it was Ben and another guy (I'm so sorry for not remembering your name) who came over first thing in the morning and got right to work figuring out what the problem was with the hot tub. They identified a few leaks, but suggested there probably were more given the age and condition of the hot tub. I appreciated their honesty and their straight forward approach. We decided to go ahead and winterize it while they were there. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure I knew what they were talking about. It was very much appreciated.
When spring came, we had a lot of questions about how to dewinterize the pool. Anytime I called to ask a question, someone always answered professionally and was so helpful answering my sometimes dumb questions. When we opened the pool, we immediately went to White Mountain for advice, information, and a water test. Duncan was fantastic. He was extremely patient with all of my husband's questions and even took the time to show us how our sand filter functions and things to look for. He truly went out of his way to make sure he gave us the right information. He didn't make us feel rushed. I want him to know how much we appreciated his time. I kept meaning to write his a personal thank you card, but time has just gotten away from me.
I pretty much go down to store every Saturday morning to get the water tested. There are always 2 young guys there who run the water test for me. I am so sorry I don't remember their names. I wish I did because they deserve the recognition. One of them has short straight hair and the other has short curly hair if that helps. Both guys make sure to explain to me if there's anything needed to help out the water. One of them (shot straight hair) helped me when I needed to buy 2 plugs and an O-Ring for our pump lid. He made sure to double check to make sure I was getting the right parts. He was very patient while I poorly explained what it was I needed. The one with short curly hair has helped me add additional requests to our service calls and processed a payment for a service call. I know that water tests are not the highlight of their day, but I really do appreciate their time and friendly personalities.
That brings me to my next shout out. Teagan (please forgive me if that's not her name, but I think that's what it is) has answered the phone on a few occasions and always is so nice to talk to. I called last Friday because I got home from work and noticed the filter was leaking from the return hose. She was quick to schedule us for a service call and was so patient even though I called within 15min of closing. Please make sure she knows how much I appreciate her.
Then, we have Ben. I came home from work a few weeks ago to find Ben at my house. He had just finished replacing the top of our filter. He was kind enough to leave us a note, but we ran into each other before he left. I greatly appreciated that he took time out of his day and stopped at our house before he went home. We had not been able to backwash because the port would just leak like crazy. He gave us back our peace of mind. Ever since he did the repair, we no longer have to say a quick prayer before turning that level. He is very kind and personable, which we appreciate!
Next, I need to mention Aaron. During out most recent issue (issue I called about last Friday), Aaron was wonderful enough to come out to our house this week to fix the leaking fitting or hose by the return. Even though he did not have the part, he made sure to call me and let me know what he thought the issue was and how he plans to correct it. He assured me he would be out the next morning because he lives right up the street and will fix this for me. I left him another part I needed him to help me with because I didn't want my husband to touch it. I got home to find the fittings had been replaced and that the part had been put in per my request. I am extremely grateful for this. I really appreciate his time and his explanation of things so I know what to look for.
While the repairs and services I have requested may be simple fixes in most cases, I feel much better having your team come out to complete them. It gives us peace of mind and I don't need to worry about myself or my husband making a bigger problem by trying to fix it ourselves. I truly wish I remembered everyone's name because your entire team is so nice to deal with. Please know that your customer service does not go unnoticed. I know my husband and I appreciate the "real human" approach. You all have wonderful personalities and let them show rather than go into retail robot mode.

Ben did a fine job placing the new filter, and correctly placing the motor. He also answered a lot of questions for us regarding use of the sand filter.

When We moved to Dover 5 years ago we purchased a home with a pool. Every year we hire White Mountain Pool and Spa to open and close our pool. I have found their service to be great. Last year we had a an old motor that died and this year it was the heater. On both occasions they got my pool up and running very quickly. Thank you Ben and Shane for you prompt service!
I would also like to thank the folks who work in the store. They are always helpful and very knowledgeable. I have compared their prices with online retailers and they are just as good, if not better. I always feel better going into a store and getting exactly what I need, at a fair price while supporting a local business.
I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your crew for moving the hot tub. The guys that came out were incredibly helpful and did a great job despite the bad weather they were working in. They moved the tub in an incredibly timely manner, and were very professional doing so. Thank you for your time setting it up and sending a great crew to move it.
On Thursday, July 19, I developed trouble with my pool sand filter. It had started to dump large quantities of sand into the pool. I disconnected the filter, drained it down and removed the remaining sand. I then pulled out the parts and headed to your store.
When I showed them to Shane, he said it was a common thing when the center tube was cracked, but in this case it was because the tube had become disconnected from the spider. After 20 years the glue joint had given up the ghost. Shane said he would take it out back and try to refasten it. In the process, apparently someone with more experience, explained to him that a repair seldom works well and that I would likely just be back with the same problem at a later date, and that a replacement would be a better bet. If there is one thing that I have learned over time, it is that if I exactly follow the instructions (or recommendations) of the people at White Mountain Pool & Spa, everything will be just fine. I bought the replacement. Needless to say, now the filter is back 100%. The point of all this is that Shane did a great job, and best of all he took the time to explain the "how" and "why." That is a welcome trait that is not as common as it once was. Good for Shane!
Want to give a shout out to Erik and Duncan. We are first time pool owners, and have not been having fun opening it up. But thank you both for your patience, time and expertise. We really appreciate all your help and will continue to visit your establishment and praise you to all our friends.
Just had my pool opened for the season, GREAT JOB. Brie and Aaron were both excellent tech's. look forward to another great job in the fall.

I stopped in Monday night and as usual I received the highest customer service and support. Mike stepped in quickly to resolve the issue. It was the 2 o-rings and split washer. When I pulled the valve apart the existing O-rings were worn out completely.

I wanted to send a quick email to thank you for the outstanding service that you and your employees provided during the purchase and installation process of our new hot tub. The delivery guys were awesome at getting the tub inside and it went much quicker than I ever would have anticipated. We love the hot tub and our only complaint is that we don't know why we waited so long to replace our old one.
As a home inspector, I inspect a lot of second homes and condos for people. I will be sure to recommend your company to anyone that I know who might be looking to add a hot tub to their vacation home.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and Mike the technician for a fine job done on my pool last week. I have owned my pool for 13 years and have bought many supplies from you including my solar reel and cover. After many years I needed some repairs done and modifications made to my pool to make it easier to open and close. I shopped around and got three estimates. You were by far the lowest. Of course there is the old adage "you get what you pay for" but in this case I was very pleased. The work was done very professionally, the technician went out of his way to explain it to me and he cleaned up his mess. I now know 100% of any future business will go to you folks. I just closed my pool and it was much easier.

We recently had our above ground pool replaced. Aquarius Pools did the original install, and took care of us for 23 years that the pool lasted. The winter of 2014 caused a pool wall failure that required the replacement of the pool.
When Aquarius Pools was sold to White Mountain Pools, we were happy for Janet and Dana, but worried about losing the support we had for so many years. We came in and talked with Dave about a replacement, and found that it was within our budget.
In June, Everett and Peter showed up to install our replacement. After a few minutes talking with those guys, we were confident that we were going to get another poll that would last us another twenty years (knock on wood). The install procedure, that we were present for, went well. We even had the added bonus of numerous pool installer tips, and the war stories about the previous install problems that had to be overcome. Everett and Peter did a great job, both installing our pool, and entertaining us during the process. They are good at what they do, and we do recommend them for an above ground pool install. We are very happy with the end result of their efforts. Thanks guys.
We are back in the water, and very happy with our new pool. The service we had from everyone in the store when we had to pick up our chemicals and other parts and pieces was great. The staff is plentiful, and willing to help. We will be returning to White Mountain Pools for our needs as we continue to enjoy our pool.

Just writing to let you know about the great job Bobby and Ben did replacing our pool liner today. They arrived at 9 am and in the span of 3 hours they helped drain the remaining foot of 8 inches of water, remove the old liner and install the pad and new liner. As well as start filling the pool with water. You can tell they have done many due to how efficient they worked and how well they worked together. With guys like that you're sure to provide great customer service
Bree was awesome yesterday in helping me find all my hot tub chemicals! She even sold me some additional ones and I was in and out in no time!!

I went in to your store about three weeks ago without Judi to help me. Judi wrote down the questions (pool was turning green along with a couple other issues). Toby started to tell me what to do and I said I would forget half of the instruction by the time I got home. I asked Toby to write down the instruction, which he did. Anyway, everything went well and the pool looks great. Toby has excellent people skills and should be an asset to your business.
